These shorts are really unique, fun, and almost dressy at the same time. The sateen/pleather panels on the side really provide a stylish contrast to the rest of the woven short. The black/white color makes them pretty easy to match to a nice solid color blouse or just a black tank top.
They do fit really high up on the waist, with very little give, though they still cover enough thigh in their length to be respectable for a casual night out, or lunch meeting in town. I might suggest ordering a size up from your pant size if you are used to lower-rise bottoms.

These shorts look so much better in person. I love them. The faux leather gives it a nice edge and they are super comfortable. The only reason I didnt give it a 5 is because there arent any pockets, which isnt that big of a deal. These will look super hot with a pair of wedges or heels too.
