Comments about SANUK MARINER SIDEWALK SURFER:

Very comfortable shoe. I love the sandal feel while still wearing these shoes. They are surprisingly breathable in cooler fall temps, but I can still wear them without socks and stay plenty warm. I have only had these shoes for one week, but already they have been through Colorado rain, cold, snow, and fall "heat" (about 60F). I believe these will work great as a go-to off the mountain shoe come high winter.

There are only two real downsides. The first is the SANUK logo on the back peeled off in just a few days. The second is the width. I am used to the older version of Sanuk Vagabond style which is fairly wide, these weren't terrible in width but definitely narrower.
