These shorts are nice looking (look even better than the pics) and are well made but just be aware that they run large. I would order a size down if in doubt. If you've been stuffing yourself into some 34s then these will be a relief for you!

I bought these for my dad. They were waaaaay too big, he loved the design, the cut, the style, but the size runs very big. Also got a pair for my brother he said they stretch A LOT. It also took swell over two months to process the exchange. The girls who work in customer "service" are super catty and rude. So be sure to get the right size the first time or you'll be out 2 months and have to deal with nonsense!

These shorts fit Huge! i normally wear a 31 in shorts. these i ordered a couple of times. all the way down to a 29 and couldn't keep them up. it seems like the manufacturer miss tagged all there shorts . the rip curl mirage fit true to size go with them

Really the definition of a hybrid short. No problem using them as boardshorts or out in the town for the day. Great material, I've only had them for a couple weeks but doesn't seem like there will be any problems with them holding up in or out of the water.
