I received boots that were of such poor quality, I returned them as defective. Swell was great about the return. I would expect Frye's to have high standards, but unfortunately these boots are overpriced for what they offer. Leather soles are not sufficient for long term wear. Shaft is very small making the boots difficult to get on. The leather straps with buttons on the boots that I received were of different lengths, and one side would not snap closed, even with stretching of the leather.
