I've been wanting a pair of Frye boots for quite some time and when Swell had an incredible sale last week, I jumped on these. I hear Frye boots vary wildly in sizes and this particular style runs big. I am usually a dead on size 8 but ordered a 7.5 and they fit great. I have a bit of extra room in the toe but it's needed because the boot is slightly pointed. A 7 would have been too tight.
I have a medium sized foot and this boot fits snug as it's slightly narrower. For boots, that's what you want though because the leather will stretch and you don't want them too loose.
I picked the Cognac color and it's a lush, warm, dark honey with beautiful textures. I'm looking forward to wearing these through the winter and all throughout the year.

loved the style and everything but the color is not what i thought it would be, they are VERY light brown, i would have wanted something a little darker. so i have to return them :(
