I bought this rack for a vacation trip instead of renting a foam rack. The cost was a little higher than renting, but the rack was much easier to install and use. The latches are especially easy to thread and break down.
My only reservation is that without a board, the rack can be a bit noisy even if the straps are secure (it tends to vibrate).
Overall though, a refreshing change from the foam racks I've used before.

Can't place straps far enough apart to make SUP's ride suitably,must use front tie down...Also had hard time removing strap racks, buckle would not release strap....Would return but took a few trips to realize never fell comfortable with boards safety most of trip...Tied them down and got boards home..Anyone wanting to buy slightly used racks holl'r...
