I've relied on these fins for 8 years as an ocean lifeguard in California and New Zealand. They are durable, comfortable and great for all surf sports. Helps a lot that they float bc like most fins they can come off in big surf. They are a lot like the Rainbow sandals of lifeguards. Like a new pair of sandals though you can get blisters if you don't wear them in a bit. As they get older and softer they get better. If you have soft feet get some fin socks and you should be golden.
