TIMMY PATTERSON BUCKNIFE SURFBOARD

It’s weird to see how board design is going almost full circle back to the 80’s; shorter, wider, flatter. The Buck Knife is just that. Timmy used a template he had lying around from his Synthetic days (his first label before T.Patterson). Starting with that template, he came up with a board that had all the good qualities of a board from that era, but modernized it. The rails are more pulled in like a modern board. The bottom contours are more subtle and less exaggerated as well (features a double concave with a decent amount of vee off the tail). The Buck Knife is designed to be very maneuverable and forgiving and of course, just like the good old 80’s, all about fun.
