These pants are a little loose and long. I am 5ft 7in and 135lbs. I got my usual Billabong jean size 7. They are slightly looser fit than normal Billabong jeans and would probably still be too long with tall wedges on. I will probably hem them. That beng said, I really do like the wide leg style of the pants as it seems like those are hard to find these days.

the pants are super soft and comfortable. I have to hem everything because I am short. Read the previous reviews and bought a size smaller than my normal size, it was the right choice.

I realize that these jeans are supposed to fit a little looser and more trouser-y, but I'm in agreement with the previous reviewer that they run quite large; in fact, I'd say they run about two sizes large. Using myself as an example: I'm 5'8, 135 pounds, and usually wear a 5 or 7 in jeans/pants, depending on the brand (I have longer, athletic legs), and I sized down to a 3, which was a bit more fitted without being skin-tight (size 1 was too snug for my tastes, but I could still pull them on and get them zipped up). They did not shrink much in the wash. I'm glad I had the opportunity to try them on in store first. The sizing issue aside, these are very comfortable jeans, made from a super-soft, lightweight and thin (almost chambray-like) denim, with no distressing (no holes, rips, or patching), and slightly more of a faded look than the picture here shows. If you have shorter legs you may want to get them hemmed, but they were the pefect length for me. They look cute with a fitted tee, a peasant blouse, or a tank and cardigan, and I can wear them with heels or flats. Cute!

This skirt runs very large. I ordered and usualy wear a 3, dispite the ad telling me to order one size larger. I was swimming in the jeans. I heamed the bottom and thought I could shrink the jeans in the dryer, no such luck. What a waist of money. If you buy these jeans order down a size, possibly 2.

This jean runs very big. I thought that I could shrink them in the dryer and hem them but they still look like a trash bag on me. I am 5'4" 110 lbs an usually wear a 3. I ordered a 3 but they are big and by the end of the day, huge. Since I altered them I now cannot return them. Very bummed.
