I'm 5'9.5" and 165 lbs and this dress is figure flattering and very long! You are not stuck with flats when wearing this dress. The material feels wonderful, soft, and not sheer like some maxi's are. The pattern is nice too. Overall, this is a fantastic maxi for tall women.

I really liked this dress but as another reviewer mentioned, it's huge. Actually, the dress BODY is right on but the straps are way too long and as a result the hemline is 4inches on the floor. I don't usually go for alterations of stuff >$50 as I feel that for more than that, things should fit properly (or not at all) or I don't need them that badly (I hate having to add another >$30 to an item to get it altered). HOWEVER, I loved this dress and I did get it taken up (by about FIVE inches) in the straps and now the hem is perfect. A side note tho: this material, while soft and pretty, is very stretchy so expect the hem to drag more and more as the day goes by.

The fabric is much better quality than I anticipated. It's extremely comfortable. I would say it is true to size, I normally wear an XS but since that is not an option I got a S. I will need to get the straps shortened and the length taken up a bit but it fits great through the body.
Now, if only spring would get here so I can wear it!
