Contest Rules
1.       Submission Period: Contest begins on or about 12:00 AM (PT) on May 26th, 2009 ends at 11:00 PM (PT) on June 28th, 2009.

2.       About the Contest: The contest consists of two parts; the first part includes guessing how long it took the Quiksilver Diamond Dobby boardshorts pictured to dry; the second part of the contest involves posting a link to the contest on your social network site, and getting friends to click on the contest link. There are two winners. One winner is the person who answered correctly how long it took the boardshorts to dry. The other winner is the person who receives the most clicks on their link. You do not have to participate in both parts of the contest; you may choose to participate in one or both!

3. How to Enter: Go to www.swell.com and register. No purchase necessary.

  • Guessing Aspect: How long did it take the Quiksilver Diamond Dobby boardshorts pictured to dry? Answer, in minutes and seconds, in the field provided.
  • Social Networking Aspect: Post a link to the contest on your Myspace, Facebook, Twitter or personal blog. Whoever draws the most attention to the contest through clicks (from your friends seeing your link) wins! The clicks must come from unique IP addresses; they cannot come from your own. This means you want to make your link as visible as possible. You can re-post as many times as you want, and you can post it on as many social networking sites as you have an account on (if permitted by the site).
4. Prize(s):
  • Guessing Prize: A pair of boarshorts (guys or girls) of your choice from Swell.com.
  • Social Networking Prize: $150.00 shopping spree at Swell.com.
5.       Eligibility: Including, but not limited to: Must be at least 13 years old to enter - minors may be subject to liability release form, as well as parental/guardian permission. Giveaway entries are limited to the United States and Canada.

6. Winner Selection and Notification:
  • Guessing Aspect: If more than one entrant has guessed the correct amount of time that it took for the Quiksilver Diamond Dobby boardshorts to dry, we will randomly select one winner from the group of correct entries. If nobody guesses correct we will randomly select one winner from the top 20% of the closets entries.
  • Social Networking Aspect: Whoever draws the most attention to the contest on Swell.com, traced through visits to the page from your unique link, will be the winner.

Both winners will be notified via email on June 29th, 2009. Winners must claim their prize within 3 days of notification of win. Prizes will be sent to winner free of charge. Swell Commerce, Inc is not responsible for prize damage once it has been sent to the prize winner.


7.       Odds of Winning: The odds of winning shall be determined by the number of eligible entries received.

8.       Error Correction: Swell Commerce, Inc. reserves the right to correct or change any and all printing, typographical or mechanical errors.

9.       Release of Liability: Swell Commerce, Inc is not liable or responsible for; loss of entry - including, electronic, computer, communication malfunctions, damage caused by virus/bug or non-authorized intervention, injury, or property damage in connection to with giveaway, or giveaway results. All written and photo submissions become the property of Swell Commerce, Inc. and will not be returned.

10.       General Terms/Disclaimers: Swell Commerce, Inc. reserves the right to terminate giveaway at any time, with or without prior notice. By entering in the sweepstakes, each participant agrees to be bound by the Official Rules and decisions of Swell Commerce, Inc., which shall be final on all matters pertaining to this Sweepstakes.
