Word around town is that Mike Morrissey is the only man Chuck Norris fears. We guess it's because he heard how Mike ripped the term “tripple threat” a bloody new one. Call him a renaissance man, call him an enigma, or just plain call him crazy: Mike is one of the rare few who have mastered the wave, the street, and the mountain. If there isn't some sort of board under his feet, chances are he's probably dead.

At age 14, Volcom was the first to take Mike on for his skating skills and FTW attitude. Much to their suprise, young Mike was able to duplicate his skate prowess on the hills. Some even speculated he would be the first two-sport pro. However life had other plans, and his sponsors had yet to fully comprehend his talents in the water. Surely the Veeco team manager must have shed a tear knowing that Mike was soon to become history's first professional skate/snowboarder/surfer.

And it's for this reason and many more (beer skulling) the Mike has been selected as Swell's team captain.
