In the past few months he's been profiled on ESPN for his murderous run at Teahupoo, was the face of a major marketing campaign for Cordell Surfboards, recieved major coverage on Fuel TV and in Surf Shot magazine, and has repeatedly reached the podium for serveral of the Monster Energy - Sun Diego Pro/Am events. And there's absolutely no slowing down in 2009. With planned events at Steamer Lane, Sunset, Puerto Escondido, and Pipeline, Tyler has set himself up as a serious WQS contender.
