To celebrate S’well’s Fall / Winter 2017 Collection, we took to Brooklyn. Just a short distance away from our roots in New York City, Brooklyn is home to countless up-and-coming tastemakers and creatives who honor the very principles S’well was founded on — artistry and design. Be it the earthy, neutral tones found throughout the Elements Collection or the bright hues of the Spectrum Collection, each bottle subtly reflects the people and places of Brooklyn. From Bushwick to Bed-Stuy, come to know a few of our favorite shops, studios, and artists in our very own Brooklyn City guide.
Coil and Drift, Bushwick
Founded by modern-dancer-turned-designer John Sorensen-Jolink, Coil and Drift is a contemporary furniture & design studio that emphasizes creative form, sustainability, and functionality. Each handcrafted piece evokes the similar earthy and neutral tones found in the one-of-a-kind bottles of the Elements Collection.

Keap Candle, Greenwood
Handcrafted in Brooklyn, Keap Candles was founded by Harry Doull and Stephen Tracy with the goal to transform an everyday item into something special and coveted. Like our White Gold Ombré bottle, designs not only look good but do good. Just like S’well’s mission to reduce the use of single-use plastic bottles, each candle helps to contribute to Keap’s social mission of providing access to sustainable light.

Fox Fodder Farm, Bushwick
Florist Taylor Patterson of Fox Fodder Farm creates works of art turning bushels of greenery into breathtaking floral arrangements. Each of her meticulously handcrafted bouquets showcases the same exotic blooms and flora compositions as those seen in the unique designs of our soon-to-be released Forbidden Garden Collection.

Malene B. Studio – Bed-Stuy
Similar to our S’well story, Malene B. is a female-founded business with an emphasis on design. Her speciality is rooted in globally sourced carpets, textiles, and tiles. A visit to her studio is like taking a trip around the world, with designs that feature vibrant, blended hues and lustrous finishes, comparable to those of The Spectrum Collection.

Prospect Park – Park Slope
Located in the heart of Brooklyn is the famed Prospect Park. Whether you’re looking to simply go for a stroll, enjoy a picnic, or explore the ravine, there’s something for everyone. Better yet, each season — like the bottles of the Solstice Collection — offers some something special and all the more reason to escape city living and enjoy the outdoors.

Dean Ebben – Greenpoint
A true artisan, Dean Ebben displays mastery in a number of mediums ranging from sculpture to performance art. Various themes can be found throughout the work featured in his studio as he explores new materials, including sustainable choices like recycled clothing. In a similar vein to the bottles of our soon-to-be released Abstract Collection, patterns take on many forms including swooping brushstrokes, contrasting colors, and intricate lines.
