We sent Charlie Webber—UK-based pilates instructor, PR genius and seriously inspiring Instagrammer (@hernamewascharlie)—on a mission: we wanted her to go to all her favorite spots in London and report back. We’re so glad she did. We now have an official London city guide for the next time we hop the pond. Read up on a few of her London must-dos below.
1. First, Coffee: Farm Girl Cafe – This Notting Hill hotspot features a fresh, holistic menu and an Instagram-worthy vibe.
Charlie says: “Although it’s always busy, it feels like an oasis away from the touristy Portobello Road. They have a big range of floral coffees, such a rose and lavender lattes.”
2. A Day at the Museum: Victoria and Albert Museum – With over 2.3 million objects on view, this beautiful museum is sure to satiate your art and design craving.
Charlie Says: “I never tire of walking around the endless marble staircases or looking through the glass dome ceiling.”
3. Style Pit Stop: Liberty London Store – This West End fashion destination is famous for their iconic print and fabric archive. S’well recently had the opportunity to collaborate with them—shop the Liberty Fabrics & S’well Collection here!
Charlie Says: “I love how the store brings together classic and new so seamlessly, and makes a real point of featuring British designers. It also has Maria Tash piercings, Margaret Dabbs Sole Spa and a food hall with a great selection of chocolate!”
4. Meditative Must: The Barbican Centre – The largest performing arts center in Europe, this expansive space hosts concerts, movies, and other art experiences—plus has gorgeous spaces for dining, reading and relaxing.
Charlie says: “Sometimes I’ll go to the cinema or see an exhibition, but if I’m ever in the area I just like to hang out in the conservatory. We have loads of green spaces but we also have loads of rain so it’s nice to just chill with the plants…without getting wet!”
