Outside Finish Is Peeling Off

"I fell in love with my Salad Bowl but unfortunately my relationship with my Bowl is coming to an end. After 20-25 uses the outside wood finish is peeling off. I’m concerned that some of the finish can end up in my salad. 🥗"

Absolutely love this bowl!

"This salad bowl is incredibly versatile! I use it not just for salads, but also for Korean bibimbap, poke, and even noodle soups. (When I pack it for lunch, I just bring the broth in a thermos and pour it in when I'm ready to eat). It’s also super convenient for traveling. stainless steel abrasive

"Looks great but be careful because there’s a lot of stainless steel abrasive and it’s not easy to remove. Even after wiping it several times with oil, washing with dish soap, reapplying oil, and repeating with baking soda, it doesn’t come off. I haven’t tried all of Swell’s other products, but some didn’t have abrasives, and this one is almost impossible to remove. Too bad I got three of them and I can't return them."

Lid won’t stay on

"I like the size of the bowl and the concept, but the depression for the dressing bowl is too shallow. The lid to the entire container won’t stay snapped shut because it touches the top of the dressing container and the lid will come off and spill contents in my lunch bag. For the premium price, I expected a better lid design."
