The Tumbler is praised for its great design, featuring a wide mouth and thin rim for easy drinking. However, some customers found the pop-on, Slide-Open Lid to be not spill-proof and ineffective at keeping liquids inside.

"I work from home, so I don't need anything large or unwieldy. This is the perfect size to keep cold things cold and hot things hot until I'm ready for a break and a refill. Super easy to clean, can be used with or without the lid (though the lid on makes me feel safer around my computer). For years I had been using one of their original 17oz bottles, which is fine for travel but not as easy to clean when used daily."
"My husband got hit by a car in a crosswalk walking into work one day. He was holding this mug, it went FLYING, and when he retrieved it, it literally had a couple of tiny scratches. I circled them on the pic — otherwise it looks brand new! So it’s super durable!!"

"My order never arrived. After weeks of waiting for my order (yes, weeks) I finally got the delivery confirmation email. I arrived home to no package. I immediately contacted UPS who told me to wait a few days and check the neighborhood and then contact S’well. I contacted s’well after about a week. They directed me back to UPS. When I reached back out to UPS they told me that only S’well could help to find a solution. After all of was said and done, I still don’t have my order."

"Lovely products and great customer service! I ordered multiple of the 18oz tumblers because they are the perfect size. There was a small issue with getting the wrong colour, but contacting customer service was a breeze who immediately sent out the right colour I ordered. Would definitely recommend!"

"I’ve been using my S’well tumbler for about four years now, and it’s still one of my favorite everyday items. The insulation is excellent — it keeps drinks hot or cold for hours, which is exactly what I need. The size is also perfect for carrying around; it’s easy to slip into a bag and comfortable to hold. After so much use, the exterior has definitely started to peel a bit, but the inside is still spotless and works just as well as when I first got it. Despite the wear on the outside, the performance hasn’t changed at all. Overall, it’s been a reliable tumbler that I’ve gotten a ton of use out of."
